On Saturday, 12 August 2023, the Welcoming Freshmen of Information Technology Undergraduate Program was carried out. This activity is a series of activities from P2K2, which is a mandatory activity that must be followed by new students.
The Welcoming Freshmen of Information Technology Undergraduate Program took place in building B room B103. This activity includes introductions to lecturers who teach in the IT Undergraduate Program, introductions to the curriculum and courses, the “How to Keep Up with Massive Changes in IT” seminar with Mr. Zulkarnain, S.Kom., M.M.S.I, and games by HMPS IT seniors and new TI 2023 students.
Furthermore, on Sunday, August 13, 2023, the Computer Science Faculty Parents Gathering was carried out.
This activity is a meeting between parents/guardians of new students from the Information Technology and Information Systems Study Program class of 2023.
The Parents Gathering activity took place in the Hall of building B, 1st floor, Batam International University. Mr. Dr. Hendi Sama as the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science also gave a warm welcome to the parents/guardians of new students and the Head of Information Technology Undergraduate Program, namely Mr. Haeruddin, S.Kom. MMSI and the Head of Information System Undergraduate Program, namely Mr. Tony Wibowo, S.Kom., MMSI also gave remarks and introduced the Study Program to parents/guardians of new students.
The parents gathering activity, which was attended by parents of new students of the Faculty of Computer Science, aims to introduce and provide information about lectures, learning methods used at Batam International University, the learning environment, and what is no less important, namely campus activities and the system to be used. students during their study period at Batam International University.
With parents knowing the environment, activities and learning systems, it is hoped that they can help and support students in learning during the lecture period.
